     Listen. Shh. You might scare them away. Can you hear the sounds they make as they call to each other? They are beautifully dressed with their feathery head dress. One movement, one sound, and they will flit away. We can only look with our eyes upon their beauty and not speak about it until we are inside. The air is still as we listen and in the silence we hear so many of God’s creatures calling. The sounds of joy the Lord has created for our pleasure. When we are still we can hear the most beautiful things breathe their gentleness and joy for all the world to sing His praise. And the quails march away.
